Homing Pigeons, A History in Wartime and Peace

Homing Pigeons, A History in Wartime and Peace In-Person

Our pigeon journey started when one crash landed in my front yard as a teen. Soon my father had built a coop, collected a ragtag crew of breeding birds, and began training drives in preparation for racing. The sport lives on today and has a rich history in both war and peace time. This class includes live birds, learning how to read bands, how to train for racing, and how the racing clock works.
